This policy describes how the BestAI operator ("we") handles user information on BestAI ("the Service"), provided at best1-ai.com.

1. Information We Collect

X account information — When you sign in, we collect your X (formerly Twitter) user ID, username (handle), display name, profile image URL, and account creation date (used to verify account age as an anti-fraud measure).
Content you submit — Votes (tiers and their change history), comments, threads you create, items you add, "helpful" marks, and reports.
Usage data — Thread view counts (we only increment a counter and do not record who viewed) and your language preference.
Cookies — We use only the session cookie required to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your theme preference (light/dark) is stored in your browser's localStorage and is not sent to us.

Providing the Service (sign-in, recording votes and comments, aggregating and displaying tier lists)
Preventing abuse (verifying account age, weighting votes by trust, detecting abnormal voting patterns, excluding votes with confirmed conflicts of interest from aggregation)
Moderation (handling reports, merging and removing content)
Providing in-service features such as points and badges
Improving the Service (statistical analysis such as view counts)

Your handle, display name, and profile image are publicly displayed with your votes, comments, and on your profile page.
Votes and comments are public. They also appear, together with your handle, on your personal tier list page and its social share (OG) images.

We do not sell or provide your personal information to third parties, except where required by law.
To operate the Service, information is stored and processed on the following external services: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), and X / Twitter (sign-in).
External links from the Service (including affiliate links) lead to sites governed by their own privacy policies.

We retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide the Service.
To request deletion of your account and submitted data, contact us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable period.
After deletion, finalized statistics (such as past season results) may still reflect your votes in a form that does not identify you.

If we revise this policy, we will announce it on the Service. Material changes will be communicated in a clear manner.
